want one

Hi . Hope you are all well . Well this is me,and no this is not mine. I have drooled over Lambo's since i was a child. This is the very first one i have seen in the flesh. They are rather sparse in Stranraer.
I have a list of cars i want to own in my lifetime;
   Lambo
Subaru impreza[ have one and oh it's wonderful]
Toyoto celica GT4 [ the old one with the pop up lights ]
Landrover Bowler [60 miles an hour cross country is very appealing ]
   Mustang
   Dodge charger
   Range rover [1970's one ]
   Clio 2 litre cup [ just for a run a round ]
There is many more and i could list them but it would go on forever.
I am actually , though you won't believe it as enviromentally friendly as i can be . But there is just something about cars i love. i do plan to plant many many trees  if ever i get them . If i win the lottery i would probably have a car for every day of the month. This sounds planet bad but i can only drive one at a time so it would be friendly in a way as if 30 people owned 30 cars then they  would be run every day but i would only have one out at a time . I know i am stretching it abit. But i dont think i will ever have that many cars so the point is mute.
And anyway i wont be driving for some time as we will be boating through France for how long, we dont know. No timetable.
Getting close too. Mark has to sit his Vhf radio certificate to enter French waters and the only date he could get for that was the end of july.. Apparently most courses are in the winter.. It is a day course but he has do do some homework before he goes as he has been sent a book.
So if you are thinking of using your own boat to go to and through France you will need your Day Skipper [ Normally 6 day course ] CEVNI Inland waterways regulations certificate which is done online and VHF radio certificate. Your boat must be sound.
So think ahead at least 6 months and if you charter a boat you require these as well.
Mark and i had this vision of just buggering off. Ha. Everybody [ government based power companies telecommunications etc.] wants to know when you are leaving , where you are going, and how long you will be away. And for gods sake don't say Don't know, because they don't have a box for that ..
LAL is coming on well and looking good, we are sort of getting used to living aboard. She has plenty of storage which is great but trying to remember where everything is without dismantling the whole boat is a nightmare..
Hope some of that information was useful to you.

I SAW MY FIRST LAMBO YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Like the Lambo, suits you, wouldn't get to New Luce any quicker than your Subaru though, but I would come for the run while you tried.

  2. It's great that you finally saw one, I still remember when you visited us in Glasgow and just after you left to catch the train a lambo drove right past me and Tristan!
Don't drool on it too much, the owner might be upset :)
