The two springers are Dotty and Scally and belong to my boss. They would come to stay every so often much to the delight of our lab Buster and my daughters toy poodle Crispy. Sadly Buster and Crispy are no longer with us. Crispy is probably making a nice dog bed out of Busters flabby bits. Kneading him till she got it just right.. Buster was not always happy with this but a growl from Crispy at his fidgeting would make him tolerant.
You know what this is AND ITS ALL MINE HA ha. Saved up years for this. Valkryie is his name and he is 20 years old. Subaru type R in sonic blue. Get heart flutters when i know i am going to drive him. Road rage just disappears. I know i can pass them when ever unlike in my disco , where i nead a decent get go and plenty of road , to get past the oldie doing 40 . Yum Yum. Missing him. There is a pang when i here a subaru exhaust in the distance .
Marks baby Honda Prelude. Me and him don't really get on. Keep banging my head and no matter how hard i try , i still end up falling out of it. Alot more comfortable than mine .There does seem to be some debate between Mark and i as to whos is fastest. Well he is debating i know , Mine.
This is little red. His mum had a bad calving and didn't bond. So he came to mine in the back of Marks disco , all wee and afraid.
I am not a puppy or kitten person but when it comes to calves. I just can't resist.. He certainly had spirit. He was sold as he needed cow company and is now a happy breeding bull. He is pure pedigree shorthorn. An unusual breed as white , red , roan , and red and white patched are allowed in the colouring. The red has a lovely purple tinge to it. I really enjoyed looking after him but he did get a handful at the end..Far stronger than me and he had a taste for wild garlic . I would get dragged all the way down the garden till he got to it.
The football did get rid of some of his energy.
These are the ducks we used to have. Now homed to a self sufficency guy.
Great for all those slugs in the garden and this is what they are doing now cleaning the vege garden of pests in the winter.
We had them for meat and eggs , but they always laid in the wierdest places . We normally missed the eggs and got ducklings instead. Not the best of mums . Tended to forget how many they had.
These are Muscovys. Brilliant breed . Don't need a pond but do lke to have baths. Love to fly so if you want to keep them you have to clip their wings. The wing feathers grow back with every moult so you have to remember. Friendly but with claws on their feet and they know how to use them. They are not really a duck but a seperate species.from south america.. They dont quack but hiss and head bob all the time. If they are happy they wag their tails..If i have ducks again it will certainly be muscovys.
This is South Ardwell where we lived before we became boat owners and liveaboards.
Bit hellish in the winter with the storms and road but we loved it.. We only had the house , the farmer up the road had the steading.
Just a skip to the beach over the fields. Sometimes the sea was a bit to close with foam coming over the house and the powercuts were numerous..Well abit more background for you . Night night
