Hi everybody.
got up early today.5am ahh. Been along time since i got up that early. Car boot at Weeley today . They start at 6 am but are pretty much done by noon. Made me laugh as this one is called late risers ha ha .
Sold my Kayak to a lovely couple from Weeley.. Very sad to see it go , but when we were in Holland we didn't use it. We did cart it strapped to the deck of the boat all the way there and back. It was a bit of a pain to get around when mooring up etc.
It was odd arriving in the dark , and as soon as we arrived we had people with torches staring in the back of the car and taking things out and looking at them before we had them on the table.
Very nice people and helpful.
Didn't go looking much , saw a couple of lovely cow horns and a really nice mantle clock , that in my previous life would have been snatched up.. Living on a boat does sort of stop you gathering clutter., But pangs of living in a house do tend to surface when i am at these things. Things i have been looking for for years , but now don't need tugging at the heart.
Still have some stuff left as we are trying to minimise the storage in Scotland . Mother in law has been great , keeping stuff for us  But it isn't fair for her to have to hold it all. and if we can get abit of money for the France fund , all the better..
Maybe have a nap this afternoon. My adorable cat Patch , kept me awake from 1 am till it was time to get up. Snoring right above my head on the cat shelf. I thought my phone was still set to dutch time and she finally stopped. So when my alarm went of , i thought i still had an hour. Nope must have changed it back damn..
There will be car boot sales going on till Novemberish according to the organiser. so if you are in Weeley on a Saturday, pop in before noon . Some great bargains .Lots of new stuff .And a guy selling great trays of winter bedding..
We really have to stop lunging at people with dogs , or at least wait till we get an answer to the " is it okay to pat your dog " question  before approaching. First time in both our lives we haven't had a dog and normally we had more than one.. Really missing them.. Maybe one day , but we have to sort ourselves out first before bringing a dog in to our chaos.
Doggy people are great .And have been tolerant with us. " yea you can pat him , oh your picking him up, well thats fine . Okay he likes that but i must be going , If you could put him on the ground now, oh your missing your dogs , Oh well then thats fine pat away, "
time for my nap.6 hours of being nice is tiring.Love to all

 Some old photos, we don't get snow in the South Rhinns very often , but when we do its a show stopper  This is a few years ago . Cows had to be fed and checked even though it took Mark 3 days sitting in the landy to get through finally. Power was off across the whole area and the snow was sticky and shut all the mobile antennas down. Landlines to were down. Some villages were shut off for at least 5 days and the RNLI had to rescue people from outlying bays and get them to Portpatrick. We were lucky. We had a rayburn and plenty of wood. My parents rayburn got blocked with snow and the fire decided to visit the kitchen. They did get it out with help from there friend John their neighbour. i thought they would be ok and hadnt got to them for a couple of days. What a sight they were all covered in soot, hair standing on end. A massive hunt went on for sheep trapped in snowbanks and most were found alive and had lambed .It being the end of march when we got all this. H

wow what a day all excitement and rain and people about. LAL is not in yet but they were moving another boat into the water and thought while the crane was going they would get us ready. We didn,t get much warning.Spent the morning getting all the stuff that could fly down on the floor. We were then told  at about midday it would be another boat shifted and then us. so we put the kettle on and settled down to lunch. Mark went to do something i was sitting going through facebook. Then a strap appears at the window and a set of lower legs i didn't recognise.I heard Mark saying can i get the cats out first. That was it out the hatch i went , yip we were going to be on the move quicker than we thought. . Tom and Patch had been worked up all morning and were not happy about leaving the boat.
